The church of Christ in Middletown, NY is a body of believers devoted to growing in the knowledge of God and bearing fruit in every good work as we support and love one another. Here you will find an environment of caring and involvement that goes far beyond our meeting place as we participate in God’s fellowship, share his richest blessings, and let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts.
Our Worship...
When we assemble to worship, our goal is to please God by following the examples we find in the Bible of those very first Christians who were taught by the Apostles. Like them we spend time in prayer and study of scripture. We remember our Savior’s death on the cross and the hope we have through his shed blood by coming together to eat the Lord’s Supper as he commanded. And we join together, singing and making music in our hearts with our voices the only instruments; giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our worship is simple, lovely, and orderly – and in the pattern of the 1st century church.
